HiT TV: Spain Fernsehsender

Hit TV (formerly Kiss TV) is a musical television channel of the group Kiss Media, which broadcasts free on local DTT in Cantabria, Catalonia and the Community of Madrid, and soon on local DTT in Andalusia and the Community Valenciana, on the Internet and on the payment operators Vodafone TV, Telecable, Euskaltel, R, and Racctel+

It was renamed as a result of the national appearance of the DKISS channel. The group also owns the Kiss FM and Hit FM radio stations.

History

In 2005 Radio Blanca (also called GrupoKissMEDIA) was granted a DTT frequency to broadcast locally in Madrid. Although at first analysts believed that it would become the radio version on DTT of Kiss FM, it was later learned that Radio Blanca would assign it to a new music television channel called Kiss TV.

The emissions in tests began in March of 2006 showing a letter of adjustment with the logo and the name of the chain, being able to listen to the audio of Kiss FM, although later it would be changed for a promotional loop. Its regular broadcasts began on October 25, 2006.

In 2014, Kiss TV (today Hit TV) won the concession of several local and regional frequencies in Extremadura and Andalusia.

In October 2015, the Council of Ministers granted Radio Blanca (Kiss FM, Hit FM, and currently DKiss and Hit TV) a new DTT channel to broadcast throughout Spain. Come November 2015, rumors began to be created about the name and brand of that television.

As early as December 2015, it was revealed that Kiss TV would cease to exist as a local television brand to become the identity (with some changes from Kiss TV) of the new Spanish television channel.

It was then that on the Kiss TV frequency (currently Hit TV) current music began to be broadcast without any type of logo, or typography that indicated that a new channel was being released on that frequency. On December 28, 2015, Hit TV was officially released, with a logo and curtains. His new website hittv.es and his Facebook and Twitter were also released.

On April 4, 2018, the Galician operator R Galicia incorporated the music channel into its offer on dial 170.

On October 2, 2018, the Spanish operator Vodafone TV incorporated the music channel into its offer on Dial 179 for all of Spain. A few days later, on October 31, 2018, it was moved to dial 181 to be more accessible within the operator's music channels.

On May 28, 2020, at 00:00 the channel proceeded to renew its entire corporate image in a general way, both the fly, curtains, and other graphic elements giving the channel a more modern and modern touch.
