Although his story began a little earlier, in 1991, at the head of Fr. Eduardo Pérez, who promoted a television project, "Copacabana de television" only on June 25, 1996, 18 years ago it officially came out, Católica de Televisión, CTV. Channel 18 on UHF. His studies were on Calle Armenia and since 2002 on Calle Díaz Romero. Today it has a presence in the air and in society. A different television presence has been achieved, more educational, participatory, and where Christian principles and values are predominant.
Many people went through this institution, both at the level of managers and producers and journalists. These years have served to affirm the importance of communication for the church; the need to build an instrument of communication that promotes values and has an open, plural, and highly participatory spirit. Today with 19 hours of programming they intend to respond to certain niches of the audience, however, it is a medium that is open to all citizens. Its directors were Father Eduardo Pérez Iribarne, Father Armando Carminatti, Lic. Carlos Arce, Ing. Roberto Rada and currently Father Guillermo Siles Paz.
